Eliza and Marco flew into Colorado to celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary. They wanted pictures to document the beauty of the area and of course, as a lover of the state, I was able to suggest a few spots for some great pictures!
They love to dance and throughout the session you could see just how much Marco loved Eliza. These pictures were important to her and I loved the work to get beautiful images of this vacation for them!
However, it was more than a bit of a rainy day. This summer, Colorado has been rough with weather. Almost every evening a storm would roll in and I feel a bit like a weather woman now! No joke, there is a radar app on my phone! That didn’t stop us as we stopped at three different parts of the park to take in the view and get incredible portraits that continue to tell their love story. As the sky 
began to open up I gave them two options – we could end or we could drive to a second location and continue the shoot with some dramatics spots and the storm looming towards us. They chose the second option and I am so glad that they did!
