I recently went on a romp through some local Open Space with a dear friend and her little girl. Of course, I brought the camera. When I scheduled the session, I was so excited that she bought a gown and really invested in her portraits. I saw her walking up the path with her little girl and knew that this was going to be the best maternity session I had ever done. Guys, I was so very right.
Motherhood is hard and it starts during pregnancy. I don’t know many moms who feel like they “glow”. Instead, every pregnancy we feel tired, awkward and at least I feel hangry all the time! However, it is my job to meet a mom and help her feel beautiful. I want to capture the beauty of pregnancy that every body else sees while moms are wrapped up in the planning, worrying and symptoms. It is an art and as I edited and delivered this session – I felt like an artist.
