Ending wedding season-A lovely photo of the Bride and Groom before the rain took over

Ending Wedding Season With A Bang!

Ending Wedding Season With A Bang!

2022 was a year to remember for weddings! There were a lot of fun themes, great venues, delicious cakes and gorgeous brides! The dresses this year were absolutely stunning and the color combinations were out of this World. I was able to shoot some really great shots, expand my portfolio and learn new tricks. As we close in on the end of wedding season I would like to show you all one of my favorite Wedding Sessions from 2021! Lets and take a look into a wedding to remember with Adam and Kylee.

A June Wedding with Adam and Kylee

Adam and Kylee were such a beautiful couple, they have so much love and laughter between the two of them, that it was infectious. Their June 2021 wedding at a Colorado Ski Lodge near Breckenridge was one to remember! The weather was iffy, but just what I needed to get the perfect images, and the couple was prepared for the rain showers that came in and out that day. I was able to get gorgeous couple images, detail shots, and dress photos before it rained. It started raining with wind right as it was time to get ceremony shots, and the Maid of Honor made sure she was prepared with the umbrella. What surprised me the most, was that everyone remained so calm and happy during it all.

A Windy and Rainy Ceremony

Their ceremony was absolutely beautiful, I was truly in awe of how the weather didn’t upset one person. Everywhere I looked and every face I looked at, was nothing but happiness and love. Guest gathered together with their umbrellas, hats and hoods and we went on with the show. I was able to get some great raw images of their priceless moments and I’m so grateful for that. Then the bride and groom danced down the aisle with their umbrella to get their party started.

The Reception

Talk about a good reception. Their reception was a blast, everyone was dancing, laughing and congratulating the newlyweds. When I say this was a good time, it was a good time. Booze, donuts and laughter, what more could a reception ask for? There was a gorgeous platter of finger food and a donut bar. I thought that was unique as most do cupcakes and cake pops! Guest were taking selfies at the oxygen bar and their gorgeous drinks. The Bride and Groom truly know how to throw a good party!

donuts, friends and a good time.Don’t Forget the Details

Of course a final piece to a great wedding portfolio are the detail shots. I was able to get a dress shot, rings, friends, bridal parties and the romantics. At MAJECK Photography we love to get shots that are different, that you won’t see in everyone else’s portfolios. I like to get photos of people acting natural and also posed. I loved to just let the bride and groom have their own time before the reception as one for the first time. Lastly I enjoy getting images that you I think you would love, but necessarily wouldn’t ask me to shoot.
